Overview

I've been working in publishing for over 20 years, primarily as a designer and illustrator of children's fiction and non-fiction books and more recently in character development and story lines for picture books as well as illustration projects for poetry and young fiction.

I am perhaps best known for modelmaking; I've illustrated many titles in this style, some of which have been translated into over 35 languages and sold in the millions worldwide, but I also have published projects in 2D styles including an interactive e-book containing animated elements. I greatly enjoy working in a variety of mediums so welcome any illustration projects in 3D or 2D, conventional or digital.

I started as a designer for Usborne Books but since becoming freelance I have also worked with a variety of clients including The Macmillan Group, Floris, Igloo, Egmont UK, BestofWishes and Holy Cow Games.
