Jennifer Keishin Armstrong

Jennifer Keishin Armstrong – Ghostwriter

NYT bestselling author of 7 well-reviewed books with Big Five publishers, thoughtful writer/coach/editor.

Overview

I'm a New York Times bestselling author who writes mainly narrative nonfiction about TV history (with a side of pop music). My six books include Seinfeldia: How a Show About Nothing Changed Everything; a history of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Mary and Lou and Rhoda and Ted; Sex and the City and Us: How Four Single Women Changed the Way We Think, Live, and Love; and Pop Star Goddesses: And How to Tap Into Their Energies to Invoke Your Best Self. I have also taught hundreds of students and individual clients over the past 13 years and love to help writers find their voice and bring it to the marketplace. I'm passionate about learning the publishing business and sharing that knowledge with other writers, which I do through my one-on-one work as well as my podcast #Authoring.

I offer several skill sets that can help me help you. I've written several successful books and know the process well, so I can talk you through it. (Writing a book is super overwhelming, but it can be broken down into the tiniest steps!) Because I'm also a career-long journalist, I know how to interview you to get the material for a book. In fact, in my narrative nonfiction, I'm constantly telling other people's stories truthfully as well as with maximum dramatic interest. I can do the same for your story as your ghostwriter, whether for shorter content or a book-length project. I've written many successful book proposals—and I'm even better at helping with other people's projects!
