Hello! I'm a NYC designer currently working in children's publishing. Some author's that I've designed covers for include Chelsea Clinton, Gayle Forman, and Rachel Hawkins.
As a designer, I always focus on developing conceptually strong ideas that encapsulate a project. I create brands that hold up in the marketplace and are recognizable to customers.
I love using bright colors, but am not afraid to shy away from quieter, more sophisticated looks. I enjoy using my hand lettering and my illustrations wherever applicable.
Design and execute the creation of original hardcover and paperback editions of book jackets for Young Readers Imprints. Participate in all design phases including concepting, designing, and mechanical set up. Responsible for image/typography research and for seeking out various artists to commission for out-sourced projects. Work on various projects simultaneously.
