James Evans – Ghostwriter

I am a writer and a ghost-writer. Books written under my own name have often been 'popular history', intended for a broad and entirely non-specialist audience: Merchant Adventurers, for instance, or Emigrants, both published by the leading publishing house Weidenfeld & Nicolson. My interests though are broad and I have ghost-written books on a range of subject matter: individual biographies, history, politics, current affairs, the future world - try me, my experience is that most things become fascinating when you spend time with them! Part of the job of a ghost-writer is to sound like the person for whom you are writing.
