Overview
I began my career as an editorial assistant at Marvel Comics for two years. Following that, I did a good amount of freelancing and producing Kickstarters, and worked as an editor and project manager for 451 Media for 6 years. I have worked for the past four years as a Senior Editor for Mad Cave Studios.
My usual workflow is to review the initial concept and outline, providing feedback on narrative and commercial viability. When the outline is in place, I provide notes on the scripts, which include narrative flow based on the approved outline, basic structure, panel descriptions/clarity, dialogue, copyediting, and proofreading.

Oversee the editorial direction on properties for Mad Cave’s creator-owned comics. Advance creative projects –scout/engage and negotiate with talent, develop storylines, and maintain continuity, quality, and integrity for each comic title. Establish schedules and supervise production, ensuring deadlines are met by writers, artists, inkers, and colorists for more than 40 titles produced as monthly series and subsequent trade paperbacks or original graphic novels. Work alongside the design, marketing, and sales departments to establish the look of the books and brands of each title.
