My name is Jackson, and I’m a literary agent, development editor, and book doctor specializing in psychological suspense, character-driven thrillers, gritty social noir, and upmarket speculative fiction. I represent several authors, including Jahmal Mayfield, whose acclaimed debut SMOKE KINGS was nominated for the 2025 Barry Award and named a “Best Book of 2024” by The New York Times, Amazon, GQ, and The London Times. I’m also a Publishers Weekly Star Watch 2024 honoree, recognized for championing bold, emotionally charged fiction with cinematic potential.

I began my career at ICM Partners in the MP and TV Literary departments before transitioning to EuropaCorp, where I worked on TV development for Taken. I later joined The Story Factory under Shane Salerno, contributing to major projects including the #1 bestseller FALLING by T.J. Newman and the instant NYT bestseller THE ISLAND by Adrian McKinty—both of which secured major book-to-film deals.

In 2021, I founded my boutique agency and editorial studio, where I bridged my publishing and film backgrounds to help authors develop fiction that is structurally tight, emotionally resonant, and commercially viable. My work focuses on interiority, tension, psychological architecture, pacing, and thematic clarity—all essential components of psychological suspense and character-driven thrillers.

My editorial approach is collaborative, detailed, and deeply invested.
