I'm also a journalist, web editor and content provider with ten years' experience in freelance journalism and researching, writing, commissioning, editing and publishing engaging content. My specialist area is tennis and women's sport. As an expert on tennis and gender issues on sport, my work has appeared in The Times, the Guardian and on BBC Radio 4.

Catena Media
As Tennis Editor I wrote, researched and published tennis content across Catena Media websites, primarily, as well as commissioning and editing tennis content for multiple sites, ensuring consistent tone and a high degree of accuracy.
I developed and implemented an editorial strategy for coverage of professional tennis across Catena Media sites, social media and video channels, designed content profile implementing SEO best practices and ran social media channels including @livetennis, disseminating and producing social media content including infographics and videos.
Caledonian Media
In this role, I wrote, researched and published tennis content across Caledonian Media websites and served as the chief editor for, live-tennis.com and associated social media channels, creating and delivering a content strategy for covering ATP, WTA and ITF tennis.
Self-employed
As a freelance editor, I have provided content edits, copy-edits, proofreads and indexing services for the past decade. Some of my notable recent work includes content edits on Becoming Beauvoir by Kate Kirkpatrick and Cricket Ball by Gary Cox for Bloomsbury Publishing.
Working with publishing houses such as I.B.Tauris and Ashgate, I have specialised in non-fiction manuscripts in the areas of history, women's studies, cultural studies, international relations and philosophy. My work has ranged from final proofreads to extensive editing and re-writing work, especially on doctoral theses being adapted for commercial publication.

I have written regularly for, including Racquet Reactions (match reports), in-depth features and interviews from on-site at tournaments including Queen’s, Eastbourne, Wimbledon, the ATP Finals and the Paris Masters.
