Hannah Whittingham – Ghostwriter

I have 19 years' experience writing with various authors, spanning YA and adult fiction (published by Octopus/Hachette) and non-fiction (Penguin, Hodder & Stoughton), particularly in philosophy and history. I am also a published author under my own name (Ebury), contribute to the Lifestyle section of The Telegraph, and have worked for 20 years as a writer for TV and Radio, largely BBC Radio 4 and ITV.

My process begins with absorbing everything I can from an author, whether remotely, over a latte, or in an office, and my particular passions are YA fiction, philosophy, wellness, and psychology. I know that story/book ideas are delicate things, and I handle them with the care and respect they deserve.

I have a particular skill in working with very busy people, having been a 'gun for hire' at Hodder & Stoughton, match-made with authors I often had to track down daily to continue our work!
