Thanks for checking out my profile. Living in Tennessee with an office overlooking the mountains is not only peaceful, but an inspiring blessing. As a kidLit illustrator, I have done a few books for organizations like The Ronald McDonald house and Paws for Effect. I have also illustrated a book about the dog that was in W. Bruce Cameron's major motion picture, A Dog's Way Home.
I have illustrated over 100 published children's books.
I have a whimsical style, full of bright colors. I love to add humor whenever I can. I get the most positive comments about the character's expressions. It's something that I work hard at achieving. About half of the books I have illustrated are for publishers, and the other half for indie authors. I keep in constant communication with the author, and share the layout of each illustration along the process so that changes can be made before the final art. I take care in each and every book I illustrate, and joyfully celebrate with the author when the book is complete.
