I'm an accredited indexer with a track record of working with publishers large and small. I have worked on books and research monographs related to education, business, psychology and sociology, and I am more than happy to discuss your non-fiction project. I can compile traditional 'back-of-the-book' indexes from paginated proofs or embed the index directly into Word or InDesign files (and talk you through the process, too!). Happy to work on print and ebook titles; enquiries from traditional and self-published authors welcome.

I trained and accredited through the Society of Indexers, UK. I have worked with a range of publishers including Harper Collins, Routledge, Critical Publishing and Luath Press. I am the local organiser for the Scottish SoI group, and the co-webmaster of the international Digital Publications Indexing special interest group.
