Overview
Trained as an art historian, I began my editorial career in the art history textbook division of Abrams, continued to foster my skills as a freelance editor and writer, and honed them as a Managing Editor at Abrams. I have been a freelance editor (developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading) and writer for more than twenty years, working exclusively with arts organizations and publishers including Aperture, International Center of Photography, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of the City of New York, Phaidon, Scala, and Steidl. A communicator who strives for clarity and accessibility, I am seeking to work with writers whose texts take advantage of my unique experiences in publishing houses and art museums.
