I'm a seasoned editor who has worked with some of the world's largest publishing houses, including Macmillan, Penguin Random House, and Hachette Book Group.
Books I've edited have been New York Times bestsellers, Amazon Editors' Choice books, won Sydney Taylor Awards, received Harvey Award and NAACP nominations, and more. I've worked on graphic novels, traditional novels, picture books, and novels-in-verse.
I provide thorough developmental and line edits through positive constructive feedback, and thoughtful consideration toward the author's ultimate vision. When I provide authenticity or sensitivity reads, my reports are informed by lived experience, historical context, and a depth of research in social issues.
