Emma Hay – Designer

For the past 3 years I have been working fulltime from my home office in sunny Brisbane, as a Children’s book Illustrator and Designer. Working with the wonderful indie authors, I have had the exciting opportunity to have illustrated 15 published titles.

I am efficient worker accustomed to working within both long and short deadlines. I like to constantly challenge myself to work in new styles, develop my skill set in Typography, Design and Illustration, and continue to

build connections in the kid lit world.

I love being involved in all aspects of the Children’s Picture book world, often going to events, visiting schools, talking on panels and gladly chatting about kidlit with anyone who will listen!

Children’s books is my passion and I am so proud of all I have achieve in the short 3 years I have been working in this incredible industry. I hope to build a lifelong career in picture books, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
