Emma Ebert – Editor

Hi there! My name is Emma, and I have years of in-house and freelance editing and publishing experience. I was first bit by the editing bug during my undergraduate degree, during which I studied editing and publishing. My master's degree from Oxford Brookes University in publishing media only fueled the fire (as well as gave me a love for sticky toffee pudding and the phrase "can't be bothered"). The majority of my editorial work experience is in academic books and articles. However, I've also edited a historical romance, which I loved, and I hope to work on more fiction in the near future. I enjoy working on any genre, so long as I can tell that the author is passionate about the project.

What you can expect from me as an editor: I try to get to know and work with each author to provide feedback in a way best works for them. In general, I try to make comments brief but clear and strive to point out authors' strengths as well as their weaknesses. I have a policy of responding to emails within twenty-four hours and will dedicate my time your manuscript clear, clean, and concise.
