I have worked in educational publishing for almost 20 years, editing 130-plus children's and professional books and writing 40-plus children's books for Capstone Publishing (mainly K-5 non-fiction under Emily Raij and the pen name Flora Brett). I am also a freelance journalist, sharing local stories on local people.
