I have worked with authors such as Lauren Child and Giles Andreae, and across series and licensing fiction.

I assisted the Marketing and Publicity teams in the Hachette Children’s Group by attending and facilitating publicity events, organising and sending out marketing material, and sending out review copies of our books. I was responsible for writing online content and articles for social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook, and the YA section of the Hachette Children’s website.

I was responsible for researching and writing several articles, which were published in the Independent newspaper in print and online. I conducted several phone interviews, transcribed an interview recorded on Dictaphone, and helped to gather quotes for the ‘Voices’ section of the paper.

This was my first experience with Reedsy and with Ellen and I'm so happy that this service exists! Ellen gave me very thoughtful notes and recommendations. Her communication style was clear and understandable. I truly think her notes will help to improve my project. I've already sent her a second request.

Ellen has again been a delight to work with. Her constructive comments are written in such a way my writer's ego is not even bruised and I am excited with the idea of making the suggested changes. I will be contacting Ellen in the future I am sure.

Ellen Morris's developmental edit exceeded my expectations. Wonderful advice and comments written on the document and at the end. Lots of work to polish this manuscript but lost of ideas on how to do it. Recommend Ellen and I will work with her again if possible.
