Overview
I'm the author of over a dozen fiction and nonfiction books, textbooks, and online educational resources. I write crafts, recipes, articles, and stories for magazines like Highlights for Children. I also teach in the Writing for Children and Young Adults Certificate graduate program at McDaniel College.
I tailor my feedback to each client's specific goals and I'm happy to work with writers who are pursing self-publishing and/or traditional publishing.
I can offer:

I am also happy to do additional consultations over Zoom for an hourly fee. We can talk about how to turn your idea into an outline, why outlining helps, what resources exist for people who want to write for children, how to find agents, how to submit to agents and editors, understanding work-for-hire and more!

I've worked as a professional author since 2011. I've done business and marketing communications as well as social media management for a number of non-profits and corporations. I've also worked with authors to prepare their books for self-publishing. I've written over a dozen books for a variety of publishers in the field of children's literature.
