Overview
I have nearly 25 years experience in the design industry and over 7 years in book publishing (freelance and contract) specifically in internal book design and layout. I have mainly worked for Macmillan publishers, working on some amazing books such as the Allie Esiri poetry collections (A poem for every day of the year, Shakespeare for every day of the year, etc) Greenwild, The Adventures on Trains series, Marcus Rashfords Breakfast Club Adventures and Homebody: Discovering What It Means To Be Me, to name a few. I can design your fiction/non-fiction kids, YA and poetry books.
I’ve always been a book nerd since I was a small child, permanently in the library and a firm member of the book worm club. Working in publishing is definitely my happy place.
I work well when given as much information as possible – nothing makes a designer happier than an excellent brief. I will provide some sample pages once the brief is sent through, for your approval. Once approved, I will typeset your book and provide a print-ready pdf.
