I've had long experience as an editor/proofreader. I've worked for major publishers and design firms in NY, mainly on a freelance basis. Clients have included Random House, Knopf, FSG, Ogilvy & Mather, BBDO, Siegel & Gale, Addison, Sequel. I'm familiar with graphic elements/typography and well as grammar and punctuation. I can edit your writing in a minimally invasive manner to ensure that it's as concise, consistent, and correct as possible. I will also fact-check, and work with you to see that your ideas are being communicated exactly in the voice/tone that you intend. I've mostly moved away from publishing in recent years, into the field of branding/strategy, but I'm anxious to get involved with books once again: I miss them.
