Danielle Smith-Boldt – Designer

Design and typography are my passion. I love to work on both covers and interiors. Self-help and special interest ideas? Bring it on!

Overview

It all began working with my wonderfully supportive father who was a 4-color pressman. As I've traveled through my career over the years, I've had the honor to work with heavy hitters such as Simon and Schuster, SBG, Houghton Mifflin, McGraw-Hill, and Pearson, to name a few (some of whom I still work with to this day). Always grabbing that opportunity to move wherever the job called for me--literally from from coast to coast, as well as abroad in some amazing places such as India.

It's tipped over 15 years of freelancing now and I have been loving every minute of creating, designing, and paging over 200 books and counting from start to finish. Every project brings diversity, challenge, and growth opportunity. I am an efficient worker, I enjoy getting to use my imagination at every turn, and I'm comfortable working under tight deadlines. Creativity and design sense, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to my work are some of my greatest loves in life. I bring everything I've learned throughout my career to my clients big or small. Whether it be appeasing large scale clients such as National Geographic, Miata, Future Farmers of America, Chevrolet, Black and Decker, Caterpillar, and Ford or a first time author, I approach each project with the same desire to push that creative design to reach its upmost visual dream while keeping budget in mind. Every client has a financial ceiling. But that doesn't mean the end product doesn't get to turn out looking like a million bucks every time!

With a staff of 2 ridiculously excitable and eager to please dogs...there's nothing stopping us from making your dreams come true. So, all that being said...when do you want to get started?
