Clayton Martin

Clayton Martin – Editor

I am a published author, educator, and a skilled listener able to convey writing concepts to writers of all skill levels.

Overview

As a writer and editor with 15 years of experience, I have a unique way of understanding the desires that fellow writers have. I'm very attentive, analytical, and observant when it comes to distinguishing the meanings and patterns that writers place within their works.

From substantive developmental editing to a nitty-gritty proofread, I’ve helped writers with a range of work across multiple genres. Whether you’re looking for a short story critique, a hint of direction for your character's journey, or a full-on line edit of a manuscript draft, I’d love to take a look.

I can help polish your project from the ground up, offering assistance should your goal be self-publishing or finding an agent/publisher. I have experience in almost every genre, and I understand maintaining an author's voice and vision while sharpening and honing the prose and presentation. It's my job to turn YOUR book into a WORK OF ART.

I specialize in Non-Fiction, Action/Adventure, Coming of Age, Poetry, and Short Story

Clayton, I would have liked for you to collaborated with me on this project. I'm not sure what you did. I would have liked for you to at least let me know the mistakes you found. As I read the Introduction (2nd par), I found a mistake. I'm writing this review immediately after I found the mistake. I can only hope I will not find another one. Very disappointed. Reedsy was recommended to m...
