Overview
Chris Tobias has been designing “outerwear for books” since 1996. His work has appeared on well over 1,000 covers spanning many genres, including a number of New York Times bestsellers. His design is known for being clean, concept-driven and elegant. Because he is unencumbered by a large staff—or rather any staff at all—he is able to remain versatile and nimble, allowing him to work very quickly. Chris lives and works in the Middle-of-Nowhere, Michigan, in his home studio, surrounded by his doting wife, four perfect children and two less-than-perfect cats.
