Chloe Johnson

Chloe Johnson – Editor

Creative, collaborative editor and proofreader, with experience in publishing and journalism. My forte is prose full of voice and verve!

Overview

I'm a freelance books and culture journalist writing around LGBTQ+ and disability inclusivity in the media and publishing world, with bylines in The Bookseller, Fast Company, The Independent, The Guardian, Refinery29, Fodors Travel, The Line of Best Fit, DORK Magazine, Wonderland Magazine & more.

Editorially I have worked as a copyeditor and proofreader for Simon & Schuster, Footnote Press, Canelo and more. As a chronically ill and ND writer myself, I love working with disabled, neurodivergent and chronically ill writers to achieve their aims - though, of course, all are welcome!

I love getting to know a person as much as their work and I know just how much those words mean to you - I would love to help make them shine!
