Managing Humanities titles in Academic books, specialising in literature, classics and archaeology.
• Point of author contact and support from contract and throughout submission process.
• Responsible for checking figures, tables, references and indexes.
• Managing the design, copy-editing and proofing of each product; coordinating with suppliers, including outsourced project management teams as well as in-house service providers.
• Continual liaison with authors, suppliers and editorial; setting and fixing production schedules, costs and publication dates to meet editorial and marketing requirements.

• Providing end to end project management from submission through to publication.
• Providing proofreading services for projects.

• Involvement in enhanced eBook workflow project in relation to reflowable and fixed format products (eg. Print Replica).
• Managing complex textbooks and bespoke design projects.
• Working on projects across the Academic group’s lists (STM, Humanities and Social Sciences).
• Managing the production of content from handover through to delivery including in-house checks of digital content (ePub, mobi, and Adobe eBook) and ensuring simultaneous delivery of print and digital product.
• Managing the design, copy-editing and proofing of each product; coordinating with suppliers, including outsourced project management teams as well as in-house service providers.
• Continual liaison with authors, suppliers and editorial; setting and fixing production schedules, costs and publication dates to meet editorial and marketing requirements.

• Liaising with freelancers and authors.
• Responsible for Corpus Access system and licensing.
• Proofreading and error coding, including work on the website.
• Responsible for briefing freelance researchers and organising reports.

• Liaising with Examiners and Product Managers.
• Typesetting and proofreading exam question papers.

• Editing and writing corporate brochures and articles.
