Science Fiction & Fantasy Illustrator based out of Seattle, WA.

Charles believes in a future in which somehow, against all odds, we all make it. Inspired by imagining rugged yet thriving futures, his work focuses on small human moments of connection, tension, and wonder.

Charles has worked with an ever growing list of self-published authors across genres, game studios such as Coyote & Crow, and publishers such as Seattle's own Girl Friday Productions, and has had work accepted into juried art annuals such as Infected By Art.

The process of creating an illustration begins with communication: chapters, excerpts, a discussion of tone and mood or reading the book!

Through a series of questions and discussion we find the audience you are looking for and the right images to reach them.

From there I work on a series of sketches, which we discuss, before choosing one sketch and proceeding to the final. The final will undergo another round of edits until we are both excited with the result, at which point you’re off the races! I am there to work with you every step of the way.

The title, type and full cover layout get a similar treatment.
