Cecilia Santini – Editor

Hi there! My name is Cecilia. I've worked as an editor and a proofreader for over 11 years. I've spent my career shaping all kinds of writing to be grammatically correct, clear, and consistent while maintaining author voice.

In my years working at Chronicle Books as a managing editor, I copyedited and proofread cookbooks, entertainment titles, children's books, memoirs, sports nonfiction, and a whole lot more. Whether working on something quirky (A book about cloudspotting! Baby goat calendars! John Lithgow–penned political poetry!) or serious (explorations of nihilism, environmental decline, and the effects of technology), I brought care and attention to each project.

In other roles, I've edited policy-oriented tomes, digital marketing materials, film descriptions, legal documents, tech blogs, and user interface copy.

I'm a strong copyeditor and proofreader with a natural eye for language and a respectful and friendly attitude toward the people I work with.
