Overview
I’m an Illustrator and Designer living in Brooklyn. I recently went fully freelance to pursue more illustration work, but recently worked as the Senior Designer at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers in NYC. I have been working in Publishing for eight years, working at companies including Scholastic, Macmillan, and Penguin Random House. I have experience managing creatives, art directing, and handling book design from sketch to finish. My work includes photography editing, illustrating, artist research, and type design. I have a hand in every part of making the book special and stand out.
I have a hands-on and collaborative approach when it comes to book design. I am on top of trends and work as a copy illustrator, so I can usually match most visual styles. I like to provide concepts, sketches, and first passes before going to final, with author approval after every step. Book designing should always be fun and have a personal touch, and I am excited to help bring your's to life.
I specialize in picture books and young adult, but have experience with licensed products and adult books as well.
