Carlisa Cramer

Carlisa Cramer – Editor

Former acquisition editor. Specializes in YA/MG. Experienced in dev editing, copyediting, and proofreading with trad and self-pub authors

Overview

I have a bachelor's degree in English literature and editing, giving me extensive experience and skills in all levels of editing from developmental editing to copyediting and final proofreading. I have honed my craft at publishers including Flux, Jolly Fish Press, Hollen Publishing, Cedar Fort Publishing, and more. I worked for several years as an acquisition editor for Flux and Jolly Fish Press, so I am experienced with the traditional publishing world. I have also worked with many authors who have sought self-publishing. My time at Flux and JFP gave me a love for MG and YA books, but I also love to work on adult historical fiction, romance, and fantasy.
