David Broadbent – Designer

A freelance illustrator based on the south coast of England in the UK. I have recently designed and illustrated non-fiction childrens books and had my own fiction picture book published. I also love illustrating maps, book covers and portraits and have over 20 years experience of working for clients all around the world. Many of these clients are long standing and have come back to me many times over.

I enjoy working direct with the client to produce the best possible result, from the first rough sketch to the finished design and artwork, all the while keeping lines of communication and feedback open so everyone is happy with the outcome. It's important in the first instance to know exactly what is required so clarity of communication is vital.

Away from my studio l enjoy a good bike ride, walking my pointy dog and a frantic game of table tennis!
