During my 10+ years working in the industry I have worked across multiple imprints, crafting me into a versatile designer and art director proficient in various genres. Titles I've worked on have appeared on numerous bestseller lists, including New York Times and USA Today, and have been featured in media outlets such as The Today Show and Entertainment Weekly. My process is trend and category research focused, helping me to design a package that tells a story while remaining eye-catching to attract readers. All the genres I have worked in:- Adult Nonfiction: Journals, Memoirs, Business, Self-Help, Cookbooks, Humor, Gift, Calendars, Science, Poetry, Coloring books, Craft and Hobbies- Adult Fiction: Romance, Contemporary, Literary, Historical, Mystery and Thriller- Young Adult: Contemporary and Thriller- Children's Books: Board Book, Picture Books, Early Readers, Activity Books, Journals (Please note: I work on the overall Design and Art Direction, I am not a children's book illustrator)When I'm not working on books, I enjoy going to concerts, watching films, and forever changing paint colors in rooms or refinishing old furniture into something new. I live in Chicago with my husband and a very sleepy coworker pup.
