Boris Shoshitaishvili

Boris Shoshitaishvili – Editor

Experienced content and copy editor of academic non-fiction (10+ years). A resource for your scholarly and creative projects.

Overview

I’m an experienced editor (10 years) of academic nonfiction with a PhD in Comparative Literature. My feedback has strengthened books published or under contract with top academic presses (Bloomsbury, Cambridge, Lexington Books, University of Georgia, University of Chicago, Oxford), and I’ve edited a variety of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences articles. Having published my own research in peer-reviewed journals across all three areas, I have a good sense of what it’s like to go through the process.

I also have copy and developmental editing experience with creative endeavors—from picture book manuscripts and short fiction to creative nonfiction and documentary film scripts.

Whatever your project, I’m here to help you enhance your voice, clarify your intention, arrange your argument, energize your narrative, and ferret out those minute infelicities that sneak into everyone’s writing at one time or another!

Testimonials:

His interdisciplinary depth and reach are unique, as also his experience and expertise in various types of writing." David Christenson, Professor of Classics
