Bianca Anton – Designer

Hello, my name is Bianca and I am a freelance illustrator. Over the past 8 years, I have illustrated more than 25 books for children. I live right in the heart of Romania, the place where vampire stories originate. Do you know about Dracula and his castle in Transylvania? Here I am, half an hour away from it. Stories like Dracula's made me passionate about storytelling in general as well as children's books. Therefore, I like to transpose beautifully written words in illustrations.

I am a person with attention to detail and I'm a perfectionist. Maybe a defect would be that I finish my projects 1-2 weeks before the deadline. I like to be organized and to plan my work as well as possible, creating character designs, dummy books, and multiple color palettes, to know that the project will be perfect and the author will be satisfied with the result.

My illustrations are often described as playful, brightly colored, and delicate. I am attracted to topics related to nature and its relationship with people, but also by funny and mysterious stories, which inspire me to make the funniest and craziest drawings.
