I have five years' in-house editorial experience, at Penguin Random House, Thames & Hudson and Routledge. I've had the privilege of working with authors such as David Attenborough, Stacey Dooley, Chris Packham, Jenny Colgan and Paul Smith. I also have an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia.I enjoy working closely with authors to bring out the best in their books, whether that means offering advice on how to structure a book or proofreading to pick up any mistakes that have crept in. My favourite thing about my job is how much I learn from each book I edit, from discovering a forgotten female voice in history to learning the collective noun for a group of walruses (an 'ugly').
