Overview
Hello! My name is Béibhínn, and I am a children's book illustrator and designer with a passion for bringing compelling stories to life. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with clients such as Scholastic UK, Tribes Press and The Irish Times, and whilst I have experience in various avenues of illustration, from editorial to adult book covers and exhibition art, I am particularly drawn to the magic of children's storytelling. I thrive on creating immersive illustrations using texture and colour, aiming to captivate young readers and ignite their imaginations.
I have experience working with seasoned professionals like art directors and publishing houses, as well as first time self-published authors, so please feel free to ask me any questions about what you want or where to start!
To give you a short overview of the process, we'll start by discussing your story, as well as your goals for the final product. From there, we can tailor my services to your needs, whether that's illustrations only or a full design package including cover and interior design. You'll have the opportunity to review and approve sketches and designs before we move on to the final, print-ready product. I believe that creating a children's book is a collaboration between the author and illustrator, and I look forward to making your story a reality!
