Overview
A graduate of Yale University (BA) and New York University (MA), I edit novels, memoirs, academic monographs, poetry, and literary anthologies, as well as bank documents, screenplays, and advertising pitches and treatments. I am passionately committed to helping my clients find and develop their unique voices and capture their readers' imagination with vivid, clear language. For seven years, I was a senior editor at the Modern Language Association of America, where I edited and helped oversee production of PMLA, the premier academic journal of literary scholarship. I have worked with published authors such as the award-winning children's-book author and memoirist Elisha Cooper, the poet and novelist Chaya Bhuvaneswar, the novelist Joshua Spanogle, and the academic author Wendy S. Hesford.
