Audrey Bobak

Audrey Bobak – Editor

Freelance editor with over nine years of experience with indie and trad authors. Specialties: mysteries and all heat levels of romance.

Overview

I have been employed as a freelance line and copy editor for nine years, and I have worked as a proofreader for five. My current employers include both small and traditional publishers, mainly based in the US market.

I am familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style, and I have worked in American and Queen's English. While I have edited a variety of genres, horror is not one of them. My preferred genres to read and edit are romantic suspense and mysteries, but the majority of my editing work has been completed within the romance genre. I am comfortable and have experience with all heat levels, I welcome LGBTQ work, and I've edited all subgenres within the vast umbrella of romance.
