Anna Surgan – Designer

I’m a freelance illustrator with over 5 years of experience working with top publishers in Ukraine and Europe. I specialize in creating detailed, atmospheric illustrations that immerse readers in the world of the story. Using light, texture, and mood, I bring stories to life—whether it's the warmth of a sunny afternoon or the shadows of a more intense moment.

In addition to my experience with major Ukrainian publishing houses, I’ve also worked with Fragment, a well-known Czech publisher that’s part of the Albatros Media group, where I designed covers for two fiction novels. This international experience has helped me hone my skills and understand the diverse needs of authors and publishers from different markets.

I’m passionate about crafting magical and mystical atmospheres, which makes me a great fit for fantasy projects, including young adult book covers. I’m detail-oriented, responsive, and love collaborating closely with authors to ensure that my illustrations perfectly align with their vision.
