Overview
My specialties include editing science, social studies, and biographical narratives for children, as well as science narratives for adults. I believe that there's an engaging and easy-to-understand way to tell any story—even one that's filled with challenging concepts. I love puzzling through the most exciting way to deliver a story, whether it's through compelling narrative, interactive digital media, engaging diagrams, hands-on activities or creative packaging.
One of my favorite parts of my job is working with writers to produce fun, empowering, and age-appropriate content. I love the back-and-forth exchanges that lead to a polished product that's ready for publication! I've covered everything from Saturn's moons to zebra stripes, and look forward to working with writers to make nearly any topic resonate with young audiences.
