Experienced, empathetic editor with a passion for books.

Overview

Perhaps you've finished your manuscript, toned and tightened it into what you think is its tip-top form, and you simply want a pair of professional eyes to review your text.Or maybe you've slaved over a rough draft for years, without ever feeling like you're finished, and you need someone who can offer support and guidance to take your book to the next level.Whatever the current state of your manuscript, I can help. For the past twelve years, I've been a professional writer and editor. I was a staff editor at Dwell magazine. I've written for The New York Times, Dwell, GOOD, Wallpaper*, Sunset, Remodelista, ReadyMade, and Domino. I've edited both fiction and non-fiction, and books I've worked on have been published by numerous presses, including Hachette, Simon & Schuster, Wiley, and Phaidon.I love all kinds of fiction, unless it's particularly gruesome or bloody. My favorites, though, are literature, historical dramas, romance, women's fiction, YA, and travel. And I have both a personal and professional penchant for architecture and design non-fiction.Drop me a line if you'd like to work together.
