Aimee Longos

Aimee Longos – Editor

Experienced Editor and writer specialising in self-help, wellbeing, psychology, health and science, non-fiction titles. Formerly of Penguin.

Overview

I'm an experienced editor and writer with a passion for discovering the latest trends in psychology, lifestyle and wellbeing. I also have a background in Psychological Therapies so am especially interested to hear about non-fiction projects covering mental health.

When working with me you can expect to have editorial input and support through every step of your writing journey. As an experienced commissioner I work closely with authors to generate ideas, formulate proposals and to shape the content of their books.

I provide structural editing as well as guidance on writing style, suggestions for content, and also work right through to supporting post-publication with ideas for marketing and metadata. I really like to get to know my authors to understand the story they wish to tell, their vision for their work and how I can best help them reach their goals.

Aimée was very professional, responsive and clear throughout the process. Her edits were easy to understand and delivered in a friendly way throughout. Small changes made by me to the project in my first use of Reedsy as a platform were dealt with quickly and helpfully. I would definitely work with Aimée again.
