I started my career as an editor at an indie house specializing in romance, erotic romance, and erotica, and I haven't left the content-for-women sphere since. I also worked for two of the Big Five in New York: HarperCollins (Harlequin) and Hachette (Grand Central Publishing). I've worked as a copy editor, a developmental editor, an acquisitions editor, and a foreign rights agent, but at the heart of all my work lies a decade's worth of dedication to women's voices, particularly in the indie publishing space.

You can expect substantive but supportive edits and a safe, collaborative space for creative discussion. I'm also able to offer advice on the publishing process and insights into the publishing industry at large. I've worked on both the agency side and on the editorial side of the business, I've presented upcoming titles to sales teams, and I've sold rights at multiple international book fairs. I will help you hone your craft and navigate the publishing industry, from initial concept to final manuscript.

Nichole Williams
Caroline was an absolute joy to work with. She was very flexible with my timeline and provided excellent feedback that gave me direction to shape my story more clearly. Her feedback was presented constructively and kindly. I felt energized and wanted to dive back into writing when I finished reading her notes. I would recommend her to anyone who is anxious about getting feedback and anyone who...

Caroline was great to work with! She was friendly, professional, and took the time to check any areas I wanted particular feedback on. She provided useful comments and suggestions to really sharpen up the text/story and ensure good continuity. Would definitely recommend.

Caroline is wonderful to work with and has a wonderful ability to work in her clients brain. She fully immersed herself in the second book of my series (essentially going in blind), and was able to adapt to the world I had built and the vibe of my voice. She elevated my work and I am so pleased with the quality! Highly recommend!
