Overview

I started my career as an editor at an indie house specializing in romance, erotic romance, and erotica, and I haven't left the content-for-women sphere since. I also worked for two of the Big Five in New York: HarperCollins (Harlequin) and Hachette (Grand Central Publishing). I've worked as a copy editor, a developmental editor, an acquisitions editor, and a foreign rights agent, but at the heart of all my work lies a decade's worth of dedication to women's voices, particularly in the indie publishing world.

You can expect substantive but supportive edits and a safe, collaborative space for creative discussion. I'm also able to offer expert advice on the publishing process and insights into the publishing industry at large. I've worked on both the agency side and on the editorial side of the business, I've presented upcoming titles to sales teams, and I've sold rights at multiple international book fairs. I will help you hone your craft and navigate the publishing industry, from initial concept to final manuscript.

Nikki Wright
This is the second time I have worked with Caroline, and her feedback and observations just keep getting better! I received an editorial letter from her that is more informative, more detailed, more on point, and more attuned to my thinking and writing process than any full-on edit I have ever received. Be prepared to feel like you're back in English class, as she zeroes in on your themes an...

I'm so glad I found Caroline! She really understood my vision and goals for my manuscript, and her thoughtful, detailed feedback made for an incredibly valuable editorial assessment. Her insights pushed me to address issues in my characterization and plot, both ones that I hadn't considered and ones that I was aware of but unsure how to tackle. With her help, I now know exactly what to do to ma...
