Abigail Salvesen – Designer

I've worked in publishing for almost a decade designing vibrant, contemporary book covers across a range of genres; fiction, non-fiction, poetry, cookery, sports books, and children's books. In addition to book design, my illustrations have been printed on packaging, clothing, textiles, posters and stickers.

I love to create hand-drawn artwork and illustrations where it suits, but am equally confident editing photographs and finishing designs with striking typography. My signature style is detailed and colourful, with a retro feel to it. I am very drawn to pattern design.
