Overview
I'm a passionate and creative editor of several series of bestselling series of books, ranging from fiction about football to sweary activity books. As a true lover of words, I turn ideas into masterpieces, whether its through copyediting an origin story for a Marvel superhero to proofreading a Beano Joke Book. I've worked for several years for a range of UK-based publishing houses such as Bonnier Books UK and Pan Macmillan, I'm full of industry skills, knowledge and know-how.
I have worked with some of the best brands in the business, from Disney to Beano, so you and your work will be in very safe hands. One of my top priorities is keeping you in the loop while we work together to create something you'll be proud of.
What can I offer?
I offer a range of editorial services, usually a combination of some of the following:

I have the best job in the world, teaching students about the joys of books and language every day. I love working with children, and as such, have a keen market awareness.
Self-employed
I offer freelance services alongside my current full-time job as an English teacher. I offer proofreading, copy-editing, developmental work and writing.
Bonnier Books UK
I worked with large brands and licensors such as Beano and Disney on a variety of titles for adults and children. I commissioned several of my own titles in adult humour and project managed and edited a range of children's fiction books for reluctant readers.
Pan Macmillan
I worked on a small team specialising in children's non-fiction books including encyclopedias, activity books and illustrated non-fiction titles.
Bonnier Books Uk
I worked on a small team for a diverse imprint, publishing in a variety of genres, specialising in trend publishing that involved fast turnaround. I worked on a wide range of children's and adults books, focusing on gaming, licensed titles, children's activity books and adult humour titles.
