Overview

I'm a creative freelance book cover designer originally from North Yorkshire, currently living and working in London (Via Brighton).

My design is fresh but familiar - classic while never feeling stale. I have a love of colour and find inspiration everywhere... from album covers, Swiss typography, and textile design through to sweet wrappers, street art and letterpress printmaking.

I am currently a freelance designer at Thames & Hudson working in Non Fiction. I am also a freelance graphic designer, and (sometimes) illustrator, as well as head of design at the non profit organisation NamAidsmap.

I'm freelance Graphic Designer with over 25 years experience, specialising in book cover design.
As a book designer I started working for Thames & Hudson designing covers for non-fiction titles across
the arts, architecture, design, photography, fashion, film and music, and also archaeology, history and popular culture. After 6 years there I left to set up my own company. I now work as a freelance book cover designer for Thames & Hudson, other small publishers and self published authors, while also working as head of design for the non profit organisation NAM aidsmap.
