I create memorable, high-impact, intentional brands and websites using strategy and storytelling. I don’t believe in ‘cookie-cutter’ designs and templates. All our client projects feature unique styles that truly showcase their business vision and target audience. Sometimes, less is more, with minimalism being key; other times, we put the spotlight on your brand to make a bold stamp on the market!

Dark Romance Author Website and Branding

Key Goals:
- Capture the Dark Romance Vibe: Design a sleek, moody website that reflects the allure and intensity of her stories.
- Build Engagement and encourage fans to interact through exclusive content, get on her mailing list and follow on social media. I also included a ‘Fan Zone’ page entirely dedicated to bonus content, downloadable character art and illustrations, sneak peeks, Interactive Q&A or polls about future book ideas, and exclusive information regarding books and events.
- Promote New Releases and Events: Feature upcoming books, events, and collaborations prominently - Built a landing page template for any new releases, and included a CTA (call to action) at the end of each page.
- Designed a lead magnet to expand reach and promote new books

Design Aesthetic:
- Tone of Brand: Elegant, dark, seductive, alluring, mysterious, femme fatale.
- Color Palette: The base is a shadow black and deep burgundy, with accents of gold for a luxurious yet brooding look.
- Typography: A dramatic serif font paired with a clean, minimalist sans-serif for contrast.

Visual Elements:
- Custom Primary, secondary and monogram logo with intertwined initials
- Utilising authors signature dark roses and daggers within the brand icons
- Smokey and faded textures for an alluring and seductive background
- Subtle animations used around the website: falling rose petals.

Technical Features:
- Mobile-Responsive Design
- Built with SEO and UI/UX interface (user experience)
- E-Commerce integration for book and merchandise sales.
- Social Media Integration for sharing teasers and connecting with fans.
- Lead magnet and Newsletter Subscription with incentives like exclusive sneak peeks or bonus chapters.

This design for the site and branding creates an irresistible allure, inviting readers to lose themselves in the Authors dark and captivating world.

A calming, nurturing and seamless brand and web design

Client:
Integrity Women’s Health by Dr. Kindreth offers acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and health and wellness coaching.

When Kindreth came to me, she wasn’t sure how to integrate all the facets of her business in a cohesive way while maintaining her brand vision and essence.

Branding:
The brand we created embodies her message, ideal target audience, passion for her work, and vision for her business. This includes delicate, hand-drawn elements in her brand icons and illustrations to give that ‘personal touch’ element which mirrors her business, an elegant and timeless typography hierarchy to command reliability and trust, and a relaxed, grounded and nurturing colour palette to portray her brand tone of voice and depict an aura of calm and reassurance to her clients.

Website:
Built on Wordpress, we built a website that conveys the brand's message and brand keywords: Calm, reliable, positive, nurturing and grounded.

A lot of focus was placed on user journey and highlighting a seamless, and stress-free browsing experience. Dr. Kindreth provides a lot of useful information for pregnant women and women looking to get pregnant, as a result, we created a calming yet resourceful platform and user journey (utilising UI/UX best practices).
The site is SEO integrated, responsive and interactive.

An Eco-conscious, inspirational and understated Brand, packaging and Website Design

Client:
Koko Kandles is an eco-conscious, coconut, soy wax, candle brand.

Branding:
The brand tone centers around finding moments in one's daily life to slow down, look inward, and prioritize self-care anywhere. It's about intentionally lighting a candle and enjoying activities such as reading a book, meditating, or taking a bath.

Website:
Koko Kandles had an existing website on Wix, but it didn't fully represent the brand's vision and identity. Since they were already familiar with the platform, we redesigned their website on Wix. Koko Kandles wanted their website to have a fun and colorful tropical feel but in a relaxing, earthy tone, and that's exactly what we delivered.

We used the brand's earthy color palette and created sections that had pops of Canary yellow, Terracotta, and Olive green to represent the brand's eco-conscious efforts.

As a new business, Koko Kandles didn't have many brand photos, so we opted to use illustrations throughout the site that tied into the handmade element of the business and presented a down-to-earth tone. The illustrations also added a lighthearted and fun atmosphere to the web experience.

A creative, aspirational and 'community-focused' brand, socials and web design

Client:
Support Small is a business that is passionate about promoting various small independent businesses and encouraging people to ‘shop small’. They provide a platform for these businesses to advertise and market their creations.

Branding:

The concept direction that we created for Support Small is centered around creativity in all its forms. Warm tones are used throughout the palette to create a feeling of support and dependability while also maintaining a high level of quality. The brand personality is further translated through the Sans Serif type used, which adds a more playful and light element to the tone

Socials:

Similar to the brand tone and identity, for their socials its all about letting your creativity shine. In order to achieve this, various illustrations and patterns are dotted throughout posts utilising the brands bright and warm colours.

Website:

Support Small has two types of audiences: small businesses who want to gain more exposure, connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs, and learn about growing a thriving business, and people looking to shop from small businesses.

To cater to both audiences, we created a site with a split ‘curtain page’ (a page before the home page).

For small businesses, we built a directory and a membership platform. Businesses can purchase a membership to access exclusive content, guest speakers, competitions, offers, and have their business listed within the directory. Members can access the platform from the front end, upload their details, and submit them for review. Once approved, their store is automatically published on the directory.

For people looking to shop from small businesses, they can browse through the directory, which is divided into purchasing categories, and shop directly from the small businesses.

Building Support Smalls site had multiple facets: not only did we have to keep in mind a cohesive and consistent brand tone with various interactive elements that increase conversion, but we also had to design 2 types of user journeys.

A Bold, fun and colourful brand and web design

Client:
Nicki Shea Photography - a ‘non-traditional’ wedding photographer based in the U.K. Nicki’s photography style is fun, real, quirky, bold and most importantly, showcases every part of your big day in its most purest and joyful form.

Website:

Our goal was to create a brand and website that perfectly embodies Nicki's personality. We aimed to establish an emotional connection between Nicki and her customers through her branding and website before even meeting her. We wanted her audience to feel joyous, comfortable, and excited when they see her brand or visit her site. We also wanted to make sure that the site is easy to navigate and use, and that it reflects Nicki's unique style and personality.

Site Details:

To achieve this goal, we designed Nicki's branding to incorporate a layer of fun and expressiveness. We started with her bold and playful 'ring finger up' logo, which immediately draws the audience's attention, and then we added bold, contrasting colors and quirky illustrations dotted across her site. We also included some random quotes about Nicki, which adds a personal touch and makes the audience feel like they already know her. These elements work together to create a cohesive brand and website that perfectly embodies Nicki's personality.

A grounded, timeless and intentional brand and web design

Client: Rivering Roots - an interior design and home goods business. Their goal is to bring a sense of connection to you, your home, and the planet through beautifully unique artisan-made wares.

Branding:
Using deep, wholesome tones, flowing textures, and raw, organic forms, we created a brand identity that captures the juxtaposition between rough textures that call forth elements of nature and minimal structures that represent finesse and simplicity. This brand tone is evident throughout their branding, imagery, packaging, and web design.

Website:
Built on Wordpress, we built a website that conveys the brand's message through its minimal, intentional, and organic design.

Keeping the user journey in mind and utilizing conversion techniques, the site's main goal is to create a mindful and intentional purchasing experience with a focus on eco-consciousness. Inspirations and textures representing nature are integrated throughout the site, including rough, hand-drawn illustrations that tie in with the brand marks and express the brand's vision and identity.
