Overview

I'm a designer and illustrator with over 26 years of professional experience. After doing both the client-side and agency thing, I struck out on my own and have been a freelance creative director and illustrator the last six years, tackling projects of all sizes and bringing an organic and handcrafted sensibility to the table. I love mid-century illustration of all kinds, but enjoy taking it to new places and telling a story within the constraints of whatever medium I'm working. I can work in a variety of styles and bring a unique perspective to every project.

At the end of the day, I love design and I love books. I understand what it takes to make a book stand out, and I love being able to play a role in helping someone's creative vision come to life!

Guided concepts, crafted scripts and treatments, developed systems, shrugged at processes, directed commercials, took approximately seven billion photos of sunsets, wrote brand promises, prepared pitches, presented miracles, breathed sighs of relief, took no prisoners, rendered motion studies, sketched storyboards. Whew.
