Marci Senders

Marci Senders – Designer

I have been working in the children’s publishing industry as an Art Director for over twenty years.

Overview

Art director and mentor with twenty-five years of publishing experience based in New York City. Specialized skills in brands and lisensing for Children’s Publishing with a passion for picture books, most recently for Disney Publishing Worldwide. Designer of iconic books including the Feminist Baby, Meant to Be, The Isle of the Lost and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, and the Lore and Black Girl Power novels.

When we work together, you can expect a thoughtful, collaborative approach and maybe a few honest laughs along the way. I love mentoring new talent just as much as diving into the details of a layout or visual strategy. I’m drawn to projects that are smart, heartfelt, and visually driven, especially if they’re aimed at a younger audience or aim to build lasting brand value. Whether I am working on greeting cards, stationary or packaging, I bring experience, intuition, and a genuine passion for making beautiful, impactful products. Let’s make something meaningful and have some fun while we’re at it.
