My name is Sarah, and I am a Filipino-American freelance Illustrator + Designer based in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Combining my love for the vividness of life and unique narratives, I enjoy illustrating nature, cultures, and history, and other enjoyable subject matter - especially when it comes to creating artwork that children and adults alike can enjoy. I work digitally, but my heart and hands gravitate towards preserving the natural textures and warm aspects of traditional paintings in my work.
It is my goal to authentically and artfully represent stories, with every detail and take heart in bringing narratives to life.

Create art and illustrations utilized for educational curriculum
Craft Smith
Designed textile, stationery and patterns for various paper and stationery products under the Michael’s brand name. Created series of intricate patterns for decorative containers, paper and stickers.
Advocate Art
Design covers, interiors and bookends of various children’s books and books oriented for elementary curriculum. Created visual art from conceptual sketches to digitally painted spreads in final stages of book development, working alongside agents and external clientele, including the author(s) and art directors for each project.
