In my nearly 5-year tenure as an editor at Topix Media Lab/Media Lab Books, I took on 20 books and 30 magazines annually. I worked exclusively in nonfiction, diving into books on cooking, cocktails, self-improvement, wellness, crafts, and the outdoors.
