Overview

I have conceived, developed, edited, and/or written dozens of commercially successful and critically acclaimed books in political science, sociology, media and culture, history, law, environmental studies, and other disciplines for publishers including Congressional Quarterly Press, Gale, Sage Publishing, and ABC-Clio/Bloomsbury. I have also worked as a freelance writer and partner of an editorial services company, so I am well-versed in the challenges writers face in crafting work that meets the needs and wants of prospective publishers.

Whatever the subject matter or audience of the work in question, my priorities are to foster a collegial relationship with clients and provide them with outstanding editorial services. In my experience, the key to achieving both of those goals is to establish and maintain a dynamic of open, professional, and timely communication with the author.
